Drink of the Day: This Bar Sells a $15 40oz In A Paper Bag and People Buy It

The 40oz is the drink the of the working man and woman. At $2.50, anyone over the legal drinking age can pop into a licensed retailer and pick one up with the change they found in the couch. It’s what this country was founded on, and it’s a drink ripe for exploitation.

And that’s just what one bar in Hollywood California has done.

St. Felix in Hollywood is selling a Colt .45 40oz with paper bag for $15, a nearly 500% markup. What’s worse, people are buying this thing and have been for the last few years. At least they give you a paper bag with it to give you that classic, drinking on public transportation feel. Get your money’s worth, people.

Twitter got wind of this menu item last night, and took shot after shot at it.
